Since her retirement as LifeStyle editor at The Journal, she has continued to freelance features on fashion, home decor and religion. She also serves as Program Director for Cappies of Greater Edmonton, an international program encouraging theatre and critical writing involving 18 high schools in the Edmonton area. During her time at The Journal, Chris opened doors for readers to some of the most interesting homes and gardens in the Edmonton area. Her sections twice placed among the top 10 features sections of newspapers in North America. This year Chris will lead a class where guests will make their own illuminated centre-piece.
