How do I book Christmas in November?

Booking Christmas in November is a three-step process. Booking your room package is done through fairmont.com/jasper and session/class registration is booked through christmasinnovember.com by visiting our Session Registration page. 

Step 1 – Book your Package

Step 2 – Use confirmation number to register for classes

Step 3 – Modify your sessions (if needed)


When can I register?

Registration for Christmas in November 2019 is now open. You will need your package booking confirmation number in order to register for classes (this will be emailed to you at the time of booking). If you do not have a confirmation number, go back to Step 1 – Book your Package, or contact us at 1-800-465-7547.


My friend and I are sharing a room. Can we use the same confirmation number to register for classes?

Yes, you may each use the same confirmation number, however, each person attending Christmas in November must register for classes separately. 


When will I receive confirmation of my registration for classes?

Upon completion of online class registration, your registration confirmation is automatically emailed to the email address you provided during the online registration process. Please print off or save for your records. Also, bookmark the URL accompanying the confirmation. This will allow you to edit your class registration later, should you wish to do so.


What should I wear?

Resort casual clothing is perfect during the day for all sessions. The Silly Sweater Welcome Reception is the place to show off your favourite Christmas sweater/outfits. For the Dinner and Gala Dinner, our guests dress in evening/cocktail attire (the Gala being the fancier of the two). Boots and warm clothing are recommended for walking between your guest room/cabins and the Main Lodge.

Resort Casual - Jeans or slacks with blouses, tops and sweaters for day sessions

Evening Attire - Cocktail dresses, jackets, and ties are recommended for the Gala Dinner

What is the weather like?

The average high in Jasper for November is 1C and the average low is -9C. Mountain weather is prone to change very quickly in November, so we advise that you bring enough clothing to dress in layers. A warm coat, snow boots, hats and scarves are recommended for your time outdoors. For a detailed Jasper weather forecast closer to the event, visit Environment Canada.


How do I get to Jasper?

From Edmonton - Jasper is approximately 4 hours due west of Edmonton along the Yellowhead Highway (Hwy 16). Click here to view directions.

From Calgary – Jasper is 5 hours northwest of Calgary, connect by the world-famous Icefields Parkway. Click here to view directions.

Please note that winter driving conditions will be in effect. Motorcoach transportation is recommended and can be secured through our team up to 1 week prior (see below for more information).

What is the total package price?

All package prices include accommodation, meals, sessions, and gratuities. Taxes are not included.


3-night weekend package (November 1 – 4) – from $1,249 per person based on double occupancy in a Fairmont Room.

3-night mid-week package (November 4 – 7) – from $1,249 per person based on double occupancy in a Fairmont Room.

3-night weekend package (November 7 – 10) – from $1,249 per person based on double occupancy in a Fairmont Room.

Do I have to put a deposit, and what is the cancellation policy?

There is no deposit taken at the time of booking. We do however have a 30-day cancellation policy – any reservation canceled inside of that policy will be charged 1 night of the package.

There is also a 7-day cancellation policy if a Motor Coach spot had been booked. A one-way fee will be charged after the cancellation policy.
