Marna Praill, Grounds Superintendent and Head Gardener,
celebrated her 27th anniversary with Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge
this past year. Her career began in the kitchen and moved to the
Grounds department, where she spent many seasons in the Floral
Shop. She moved up from there, spending 4 years as Assistant
Grounds Superintendent before being promoted to Superintendent.
Marna has been a part of Christmas in November for over 23
years - decorating the Signature Cabins for the holiday season,
bringing in festive plants and flowers for The Main Lodge and
overseeing the huge job of decorating the 20 foot Christmas trees
in The Great Hall & Beauvert Dining Room.


Over the years, Marna has even had the pleasure of creating
flower arrangements for Queen Elizabeth II, who was wowed by the
beautiful bouquets designed for her and placed throughout Outlook
Cabin. Marna and her team continue to provide wedding flowers
for guests, she has been featured in Bridal Fantasy Magazine more
than once. Starting new trends in the Hotel like growing organic
micro-greens, organic herbs for the herb garden, fresh herbs for
The Emerald Lounge and ORSO Trattoria. Her work doesn’t end
there, she also oversees our 900 acres of grounds, operating a
greenhouse, all outdoor flower displays, and special projects, all
while presenting at Christmas in November and other signature
packages here at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.


Stevie is from Ontario and graduated with an Interior Design
Degree. She has worked in the Floral Industry and floral shops
for 7 years prior to joining our Fairmont Family 2 years ago as
our Floral Design Supervisor. Stevie works very closely with our
Brides & Grooms to create & bring to life the vision for these
couples flowers on their special day! Stevie also works closely
with our Conference clients who request many fun themes for
centerpieces and décor, she also animates our Hotel for all Holiday
Décor setups, taking care of our potted seasonal crops installing
fresh cut flowers for all of our outlets weekly and is working in
the Greenhouse on the many tasks including growing our organic
micro-greens and herbs for our Chef's Herb Garden.
