Giselle Courteau is a self-taught baker and co-owner of Duchess Bakeshop in Edmonton, Canada. She's been named a Woman of Vision for her success in starting and growing Duchess Bake Shop. The bakery has won numerous awards. She has a degree in Art History from the University of Victoria.

After a flourishing career as section editor with the Edmonton Journal, Chris now works with teachers and high school students, as Program Director for Cappies of Greater Edmonton, an international organization that celebrates the arts and mentors young writers.

Chef Stephanie completed her training in both Culinary Arts & Pastry Arts at the Culinary Institute of Canada located on Prince Edward Island. With her initial plan to continue her career in the Culinary field she kept finding herself being thrown into the Pastry Kitchen - eventually she decided it was meant to be so there she stayed!

Lindsay Porter

Born and Raised in St Albert, Executive Chef Lindsay Porter’s focus has always been on the culinary world, even as a child. This passion for the culinary arts reflects through her re-designed menu at El Cortez Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar “From the colours, to the flavors, to the textures, this menu really is my form of expression.
